Donations

As Green As It Gets™ distributes 100% of product sales revenue and small business financing directly to its producers. Therefore, donations are an important means by which we can sustain our operating costs and continue supporting our producers.

There are several different ways you can can contribute. Choose from the options below.

Alternatively, you can write a check payable to "As Green As It Gets" and mail it to our US office. Please write "Donation" in the memo line.

Our 501(c)3 status is pending; therefore your donations are not tax deductible at this time, but may be in the future.

Keep a roof over our head and our water running for one month
In order to deliver quality programs and services, As Green As It Gets incurs operating expenses each month. Your $300 contribution will pay our rent and utilities for one month.

Support an As Green As It Gets volunteer for one month
Volunteers at As Green As It Gets donate their brains and brawn to support our organization. They are our most valuable resource; without them, we could not provide needed programs and services to our producers in Guatemala. Your $250 contribution will support a volunteer's rent and food expenses for one month.

Keep us connected for one year
The As Green As It Gets website is a critical communication tool for keeping in touch with our supporters and faciltating sales for our producers. Your $100 contribution will pay our website hosting fee and domain name registrations for one year.

As Green As It Gets volunteers spend a lot of time traveling... visiting our producers, running errands, making presentations and facilitating sales. Your $30 contribution will pay our bus fares and gas costs for one month.

Make a donation in the name of a loved one for Christmas
If you wish to make a donation in someone else's name as a gift for them, enter their name in the 'Name of donor' box. If you wish to make the donation in your own name, enter your name.

Once we receive your donation, we will send you a certificate. Enter in the 'Email address' box the email address you would like the certificate to be sent to. If you have made the donation in someone else's name and you would like us to send the certificate directly to them, enter their email address (we will note in our email that the donation has been made as a gift from you). If you would like us to send the certificate to you, enter your email address.

Or clearing out your stock of “I don’t use this anymore but I don’t want to throw it away”?  We’ve created a wish list of equipment that will assist us in our operations in Guatemala.  They needn’t be fancy, just functional. Email  us at info@asgreenasitgets.org if you can help.
As Green As It Gets has applied for 501(c)3 charitable status.  Once charitable status has been received, As Green As It Gets will be able to process tax-deductible donations.

As Green As It Gets operates under the following legal codes:

State of Minnesota, Chapter 317a; Internal Revenue Service, Chapter 501(c)3; Internal Revenue Service, Chaper 508(e)

Under these laws, As Green As It Gets is classified as a private operating foundation and is pending classification as a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. As such, As Green As It Gets’ board of directors retains all decision-making authority regarding use of funds for which it has been entrusted.
