Garbage in, garbage out?
Not at As Green As It Gets™.  The great thing about our garbage is that it makes wonderful skin and hair care products, like Maria Benita’s lip balm.

Sure, the ingredient list on your favorite cosmetic reads water (that’s cheap), propylene glycol (that’s the antifreeze in your car’s radiator), sacharrum officinarium (that’s the fancy way of saying ‘sugar’) and a generous helping of Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde (the stuff that makes your toilet bowl cleaner smell good).  But tucked in that list of ingredients, you’ll find a little dab of the stuff that actually matters: the macadamia oil, the rose extract, the glycerin, etc.
